The Idea behind the designs is simple- minimum board, maximum result. A surfboard is recommended to be ridden 6" taller than the rider's
height. Working with preexisting Rusty templates, refinement's were made pertaining to the rocker, rails, tail and fin design to allow me (who
stands 6' tall) to achieve perfect results riding a boards ranging from 2" below my height to no more than 3" above it.
The "Piranha" is equipped with a triple-wing swallow tail to break up the potential stiffness of the thicker rails, and a "C-5" fin setup in which
the extra fins project water into the standard 3 to radically increase drive off the tail effectively activating it's squirrelly persona. Brilliant!
The 6'1" "Pro-ject" Is a super responsive shortboard that comes out when the waves are pumping. Basically, it's 10x more responsive and
psychotically faster than any other shortboard design.
The 6'3" "Pro-ject" is basically a scaled up version of the 6'1" designed to proportionally ride the same while I'm wearing 35 lbs. of wetsuit
gear through the winter months, or on days that could break triple overhead when I'm not.

Each board has a core of "Superlight" Clark Foam, a "Paralam" stringer bound with black glue, 1 layer of HQ E-glass (beyond
standard grade) on each side and 1 layer of HQ S-glass (30% stronger, 50% lighter) on the deck. They all sport a "sanded
acrylic" finish, which is a stronger, faster, paraffin wax variant of the classic sanded finish. Although it is hard to tell from the
pictures, each board from shortest to longest is sprayed in successively darker greys. Surprised?
I insisted on having the vintage "R." logo on each board. I want no part in the future other than to create an army and fortress
of the past.
Never one to forget those who've helped, here is my hormage to Supreme N.Y.
The NY Logo- ALL MINE. Pretty nice, huh? The "BROOKLYN" logo- you guessed it, mine too.
The "Flight" logo is of course the athletic icon of 1989, while the last logo on the totem is not
only another tribute to Supreme, but also a statement.
Of course, MY signature, followed by a little Spike and Mike action.
The vehicles that visually divide life and death.
Overall, my experience with Rusty Surfboards was an interesting and pleasant one. Ian was great to deal with and handled my
perfectionism like a therapist. Goose's ability with a spraycan is unparallelled. However, like all things where someone other
than myself is involved, mistakes were bound to be made. Here are the 3 critical errors: 1) Next to my signature on the
underside of each board should've been placed the "Adam Icon" seen on my art gallery page. 2) Rusty's signature shoul'dve
been clearly placed above the stringer towards the back of the board 3) THEY "LOST" MY FUCKING BLUEPRINTS!!!.
